I am once again very honored to have been invited to speak before my fellow members at the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce.
Details:
When: Tuesday, October 11, 2011 starting at 5:30
Where: Middlesex Saving Bank on Route 20
Over the past few months I have been working with the Chamber in helping them to put together a new website. It has been a very fun process and we are lucky to have had such a good group involved throughout. There were some very specific challenges the were recognized early on, some of which were specific to the space, and others of which were specific to the community and so as we developed and put in place the new site addressing these challenges was “top of mind.”
Which is a great segue way into what I will be talking about next week – learning all about “How and Why We Built the New Site The Way We Did.” In many regards this will be both a site critique and also a bit of a “white paper” approach that will walk people through much of the digital decision making process. In addition to talking specifically about the site I will be highlighting specific areas that have a nice local relevance that perhaps others in attendance might want to utilize in their own efforts.
It should be both a fun and informative evening. In addition, take a look at this new promotion that we are running for “Chamber Members Only” – which will also be among the items I discuss – how and why we put this promotion together.
In any event, if you are local and are interested in attending, even if you are not a Chamber Member please let me know and I’ll try to make sure there is a space for you. Thanks! Dave
