When we sat down with Nimrod-Avraham May, we expected a fun, standard conversation about his hit animated series, God’s Gang—a show that has captured over 1.6 million subscribers on YouTube by bringing together a multicultural team of interfaith superheroes to promote unity. But what we actually embarked on was a wild, deeply personal journey into what happens when life forces an absolute internal transition. Before the millions of views, Nimrod was a high-flying tech and venture capital marketer living at the center of scale, logic, data, and ego. He was also a staunch, lifelong atheist.
Then came the fire.
Nimrod walked us through a literal, terrifying building fire that he barely survived. Emerging from the smoke, his analytical, cause-and-effect worldview cracked wide open. He was driven to do something completely out of character: he went to a synagogue to pray over a Torah scroll handwritten by his own great-great-grandfather. What followed was a highly uncoincidental chain of events that forced him to start asking the big questions. As a former non-believer, Nimrod went searching for what lies beyond the physical—plunging into ancient texts, Kabbalah, and eventually, the intersection of mysticism and quantum science.
“There is no such thing as matter… Everything is energy, and everything is interconnected through the quantum field.” — Nimrod-Avraham May
We spent a fascinating portion of the episode diving into this “quantum journey.” Nimrod explains how he began to look at human thoughts as frequencies and emotions as vibrations. By shifting our internal state away from the lowest frequency (fear) and toward the highest (love), we actually have the power to co-create our physical reality.
The animated series, God’s Gang, is the ultimate physical vessel for this internal shift. Rather than pushing religious dogma, the cartoon uses its colorful characters to deliver universal, human-shared values like kindness, compassion, and teamwork. It is Nimrod’s way of translating complex quantum entanglements, spiritual truths, and a message of peace into a fast-paced, funny medium that young minds can easily digest.
