In part of an ongoing series, the Boston WordPress Group has been running a series of "WordPress Theme Bake-Offs." The purpose has been less about finding a winning theme and instead is focused on giving the entire group an opportunity to hear more about these themes as the members determine what might make the most sense for each of them.Bake-Off #2 featured the following themes:
The folks over at the Boston WordPress Group have invited me back to run another demo on May 23, 2011. I've been busy at work putting together my theme, as this time I'll be running the demo for the Genesis Theme, the bulk of which I'll be spending reviewing via the use of one of their child themes (the Corporate Theme). As you might recall they graciously had me demo Headway in March during the Theme Bake Off Part 1.
I'm very pleased to share with you that tomorrow, March 28 I will be speaking before the Boston WordPress MeetUp Group as one of the presenters for the WordPress Framework Bake-Off.The evening will showcase three distinct premium WordPress themes including Headway, Thesis, and an open-source theme called Suffusion. I'll be running the demo for the Headway Themes tutorial. I should also mention that the bake-off is not intended to be a competition rather the showcase of each of the themes and it should give everyone a very nice introduction into some of the strengths and weaknesses of each of these themes.

Web strategy as well as social media (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube...) will be heavily featured. I'll also be touching on some specific 'local' touchstones that every business should be considering.
